On one fateful night, a young adult Bat wandered off from home and never came back. As they watched the stars fall during a meteor shower, one star loses its course, directly colliding into them. They emerged as a new being, with increased combat capabilities, powers from beyond the stars, and a charismatic attitude.

A former cult leader who used their eldritch powers hypnotize people into his cult, Haste chose to shed their villainous persona in order to help protect their old and new home from the onslaught of alien invaders. Haste's main form of combat is summoning tendrils through solid surfaces to slam enemies and protect their allies.
