Real Name: Ryan Hamza

A veteran who was on a regular camping trip with fellow comrades. While his friends were resting, he caught a glimpse of a strange light. His sense of danger fired off, but nonetheless, he chose to advance. Eventually, that light would envelop him. Soon, Vanquish would be one of the first people to be captured by aliens.

His experience lead him to create the Stellar organization, in order to recruit more people who can enter crop fields and deal with the alien threat. On the ship, Van was subject of the alien's experiments in creating bio-weapons, turning his arms into transforming multi-tools, which still looked and felt like regular flesh.
